John became Christ Covenant RPC’s fifth full-time pastor in mid-2003 after church-planting in California.  He studied information systems at Geneva College in the 1980s, prepared for ministry at R. P. Theological Seminary in the 1990s, and recently entered the (part-time) Doctor of Ministry program at the same school (to focus on pastoral counseling).  John is married to Lisa; they have four daughters and five grandchildren (already!).  John counts Francis Schaeffer as a philosophical hero for insisting on wider and wider applications of the Lordship of Christ Jesus in His church & world.  You will be doing John a wonderful favor if you ask to meet over coffee at Signs of Life; let’s talk!
